I have about 50 wines in my Delectable queue that I haven’t posted yet that date back to early November in San Antonio but I’m still alive and kicking. Even out of subpar restaurant stems this bottle was showing well after we allowed it to open up. Very round and full, with noticeable smoke and wood, sweet purple fruit. Cruising along and I think it will get better. I highly recommend a decant and some legit stemware. Still some baby fat and not super multi dimensional but very smooth in a hedonistic way.

Second label to Pingus showing perfume notes on the nose with hints of pencil lead and espresso. Full bodied with intense rich flavors. Great oak integration and perfectly balanced.

Leaner than you'd think, bright fruit that mellowed only slightly over time.

Smoky, mineral-laden perfume with savoury, dark-fruit, spice-tinged palate. Powerful and long. Excellent oak integration.

Dark purple. Subdued nose. Very concentrated and pure. A little hot - 15% alcohol. Smooth and well integrated tannins. Dark ripe fruit. Mineral elements. Long finish. Drinking really well right now.
