New straight Barolo bottling from Clerico and a well done job at that. Accessible early with a good decant. Will be terrific in a couple of years.

Fabulous. This man knows how to employ a barrique. Red and black fruit, some sweet spice and pipe tobacco, crushed violets.

This was an absolutely beautiful Barolo that is drinking well now. Nose of red fruits, tar, new leather, cedar and crushed purple roses. It's a riper version of a Barolo for sure. Structurally, the wine had a nice balance of acidity and tannin, and the palate confirmed the elegant red fruit and floral notes. Glad I still have a bottle left of this. Should develop nicely.
