A great example of Maya’s description of the ephemeral possibilities of a Pinot noir. We drank this over the course of 24 hours and every moment it tasted like a different wine. Extremely elegant.

It’s never a good sign when my wife says she doesn’t like the wine. But I try to be objective. The wine I thought was missing the “depth” and maybe needed more aging. Young strawberries in taste with med-high tannins and maybe raw cabbage on the nose. Really? Maybe not. But definitely more tannins and less finesse than usual burg.
