Light straw gold color. Nice weight in the glass. Citrus nose with notes of honeydew, spice and some gravel stone. Surprisingly fat and rich in the mouth. Ok finish. Lacking the strong acidity spine I was expecting. Not sure what to make of this.... will it get better with more age, is it in an awkward phase, will it improve with more air... the jury is out.

Dec 3rd, 2017Med gold color. Nice weight. Apricot, white stone, wax, and kiwi in the nose. With air the core of fruit and a bunch of acidity comes on. Rich in the mouth but thin and a bit light on the finish.

The last of six bottles and it was brilliant. Crushed, wet and dry stones over pretty lemon curd and orange peel fruit tones. The palate is mature but still vibrant. Hints of hazelnut to accent blood orange and Meyer lemon fruit. It finishes crisp and zingy with a dynamite mineral streak.
