Outstanding
So much Southern Rhone dirt and water and sun with still vibrant fruit
Alcohol was prominent but well balanced
Enjoyed with a filet from Marin Sun Farms

Amazingly eloquent for a CDP. Worth the wait!

A penetrating ruby, the '00 Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils Châteauneuf-du-Pape, has rich scents of stewed black fruits, damp forest floor, leather and soy. Peppery flavors of sweet black cherry fill the mouth. It's both rich and fat, but silky smooth and refined. Finishes long and generous.
