In spite of the fact the very moldy cork fell in the bottle at first gentle touch we tasted anyway. I am very glad we did. The wine seemed a bit like orw upon first sniff but given a little time opened into a beautifully complex Burgundy. Cassis , black cherry, smoke and leather with that perfect acidity that you expect. All in all a truly delectable wine that showed its maturity in a very positive way.
