Incredibly balanced and smooth, a wonderful bottle of wine. Black cherry, strawberry, wood notes that hint of oak and cedar, mushrooms, and spicy character I can't quite place. Lengthy and savory finish. This will be hard to stay away from. At my local shop it was very attractively priced compared to most village level Côte de Nuits. I imagine this will continue to get better.
