The door was only partially open, but the glimpse inside revealed strawberry and cherry accented with minty underbrush, herbs, and stone. The lively acid is cut short by a wall of tannins. Loads of savoriness, but will be better in a year or two.

Smoky toasted sesame seed nose with petrol notes masked by rosemary. Roses and underripe raspberry, atop a bakers chocolate slate. Medium mouthfeel, that adumbrates into a tart smoky cherry and cedar, then finishes with a Gevery C-like cran. Persistent, and delectable. A serious wine with approachable attitude. Lovely.
