Very much like a young, less austere Burgundy. Not surprising as winemaker Laurent Montalieu is a Burgundian himself. Nice and juicy now, but this should show some development with time. Drink now through 2024.

Deep garnet hue with medium saturation. Aromas and flavors of cherry, pepper, sage, smoke, strawberry, and violets. Medium body, medium tannins, and medium-high acidity. Elegant, smooth, and complex.

First time trying this Oregon Pinot Noir with a quasi French looking label.
Seems like a good example of Willamette Pinot if not in the upper echelon of what can be produced.
And a nice price point at $18 from Total Wines.
