bought on release and stored by me since, I have ignored this bottle for years, fearing premox. Now, if opened and dead, it's oxidation, not premox! No worry--it is gorgeous mature white Burgundy, drinking at peak. La Moutonne is a monopole mostly in Vaudésir, a little in Preuses.

Lemon zest, honey on nose and palate, the mouthfeel is smooth and round, very soft in texture while delivering very driven and intense Chardonnay flavors. I get no chalk or oyster shell, little minerality, and I don't think Chablis, but it is a lovely wine nonetheless.
