Attirance Crozes-Hermitage AOC Syrah

Lovely nose. Spicy dark berries, crushed rock dust, roasted savory herb-crusted lamb. It’s surprisingly crisp with acidity in the mouth, buoying up savory, minerally flavors. Back label says it’s only 12.5%!

I love these wines. Big, ripe, peppery nose. Lots of vivid dark black fruits. Palate is mouth-filing and complex with terrific freshness and so much granitic minerality. Very juicy. Terrific wine drinking great now. Amazingly balanced and pure.

Nose takes a while to open, but then beautiful smoky cracked stones, floral notes, and pure pure blackberry fruit. Not a big wine, but very fresh, clingy flavors of sultry berry pressings and cracked stones. Soft texture and fresh acids. Nice with my Portuguese linguica rice.

Bottled in September. Big perfumed nose. Lovely and deep. Terrific acids and perky. Really bright.
