Clavoillon Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Lovely

Ripe Apple and pear. Lemon rind, toasty and nutty. M+ acid, m body. Lemon. M+ finish and complexity. Both crisp and creamy.

While having such great structure and solid minerality, acid, and the right amount of oak- where this wine shines is in the aromatics. World class wine with world class reputation.

Fabulous- concentrated and complex. Everything you want from white Burgundy.

Young and not entirely expressive, but structured and refreshing. Want to fast forward 15 years.

Slight reductive with creamy citrus. I like.

Surprising minerality and zip!

A bit of the Leflaive lemon custard. No real sharp edges. Pretty.

A bit more rounded than prior vintages I have had. Very pretty in a simple sort of way. Not a keeper.
