Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Matchstick nose. Notes of apricot, citrus, white stone/limestone, petrol, tan spice. Massive acidity in the mouth, matched by a ton of fruit and structure. This evolved all night, getting better and better. Guessed 99 Leflaive Batard. 96+

Nov 19th, 2015Tasted blind. Medium gold. In the nose you get a feel for the power of the fruit and acidity in this wine, but alas it’s corked. The flaw blew off later in the day to reveal lemon and wood, some sulfur and some stones. But soon after the taint was back in force. Too bad.
