The theme is underrated. One of the most underrated songwriters of all time meets Marsannay, one of the most underrated appellations in Burgundy. The power pop masterpieces on this record play off the silky ease of this wine.

Quite good at this stage; punches above its weight. Foliage, dusty fruit, good structure & purity. Vibrant and alive. Lovely wine if a tad simple.

Easy to love. A little bit of tannic edge but soft around the edges and a bit simple. Light aromatics.

A top vintage. Dark. Cola nose. Rich, dark cherries, hint of licorice, lacks secondary flavors of interest but a really nice example of a village wine. Not overly complex. This wine is ready drink now. From the Meritage wine store in Encinitas. A good buy for the money. A little rustic.
