In the zone! Deep, ripe black and red cherries and lovely mossy earth. Ripe and with a lipstick like intensity. Palate is deep, rich, ripe and concentrated but with beguiling freshness and wonderful purity. Lots of grip and cut. Really intense due to low yields but still has that Girard drinkability factor. So so good. Velvety, ripe and sweet tannins. Super overachiever in 16. A great wine!
