The drab translucent purple is belied by a medium body and rich flavor. Dark fruit, earth on the nose and the tongue. Tannins are a late arrival to the rather long finish. Fantastic wine.

Perhaps a touch of Gamay? Surprisingly, it drinks well after 5 days. Good and ripe, pretty dark.

A Neil rose that selection from 2009. Still young, polished ripe with excellent acidity. I think 2009 Bourgogne are great values.
