Perfect Tuesday night wine. Cracked fresh pepper, some dried pepper as well. Bright berry fruit. Pungent aromas. Some mint. Some menthol wine also lavender. Gorgeous. Smokey bacon. Palate is ripe and juicy with lovely freshness and refinement. So balanced and pure. Just wonderful. Lovely fruit concentration and finishes meaty and brooding but also bright.

Really like this Syrah! I had it for the first time at Frenchie Rue du Nil in Paris paired with smoked rabbit which was exceptional! This time I had it with roasted pork.

Super drinkable right now--could be even better in a few years. We had the 2015 recently but were more impressed with this young buck.
