Grenache Syrah blend, aged 10 months in large oak casks. Ruby with aromas of black fruits, spices with slight floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with herb notes. Fine big tannins, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with herb and fruit. Nice!

Medium ruby in color; raspberries, maraschino cherries, and black tea on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like strawberry jam, white pepper, lavender, and clay pots with a long finish. I love the way it smells. The taste would be great except for this intense bitter flavor (fresh asphalt??). I'm hoping that flavor dissipates with a longer decant. Nellie says it's ok, and I like it. The bitter flavor diminished after about an hour.
