La Deuse Vin de Savoie Mondeuse Noir

Nose is stunning. Brambly alpine red fruits, mashed flowers and fresh cut grass. Loads of herbs as well. Fruit is gorgeous, clear and focused. Palate is juicy, clear and fresh. Lacks a tiny bit of stuffing but also needed 24 hours to become civilized. Lovely wine.

This wine is so brilliant. Flowers, minerals, woodland berry fruit, lovely sappiness, violets, pollen, earth, just sick nose. Juicy as all can be with intriguing and deep but a bit untamed, as it should be, Mondeuse fruit. Big ripe wild tannins and terrific freshness from the acidity. Long and saturates the palate. Wonderful. Better in 3 years

Wow. Sick nose. Blackberry pie. Mint. Complexity. Tannins. So juicy. So deep, so pure. This is better than 14. Grips your mouth and then pumps out fruit. Amazing tannins and purity.

These are Day 2 notes. Unreal aromas. Lavender, purple fruits, herbs, alpine, citrus peel, amazing depth and clarity. Truly amazing aromas. Palate is so juicy with amazing structure and freshness. Serious tannnin but so fresh and effusive. Will be even better on day 3. Outstanding.

What a knockout nose. Huge berry fruit. High toned and very precise. Palate it silky with layered and juicy fruit with a bright fresh character. Super crunchy Alpine goodness. Amazing freshness and an appealing opulence as well due to the warmth of 2015. So balanced.
