Second time tasting this bottle. This is an entry level 1er Cru Red Burgundy by one of my favorite producers there. Color screams Pinot, and the nose takes you there: red cherry, forest, clean wet earthy scents. The palate is vibrant with ripe red fruit deep minerality, high acidity, medium alcohol, soft tannins, and plush witty finish with a whiplash cherry note on the very end. A great wine that tastes great young, and under a Benjamin too. Roars real value. Chill for best tasting experience, the coldness tames the fruit. Loving this!
