Light gold. Shiny and heavy in the glass. Knockout nose with notes of apricot, light honey, tan spice, white clay and wet stone. Fat and glycerol in the mouth. Not showing a lot of acidity to match the fruit. A nice richness comes on in the finish. Killer nose. Ready to be consumed.

Reticent at first but ultimately really good. Iodine, shellfish and citrus on the nose and on the palate. Just delicious with citrus and oyster shells, it's getting fully fleshed out and is well worth a roll now. The 2001
