Finishes with firm but suave tannins and outstanding slowly rising length, with an unexpected piquant note of blood orange. This incredible Clos de la Roche is just approaching its peak. Feb 20th, 20171999 Domaine Dujac Clos de LA Roche. ELO at HB w J&H R and Leon. Very mellow and delicate- nothing overt- from the get-go. Gained some really interesting savory, meaty notes as it sat in the glass. Thought it drank really well.
