No decant, but opened an hour in advance; not fully resolved, open; stem character may not appeal to some; showed more complexity after a couple of hours.

Such an elegant and lithe example of Dujac, was good on opening but much better now after 5 hours in bottle, kaleidoscopic nose now of 5 spice and autumn leaves, sweet sappy raspberry, toned of caramel, sauteed mushroom and madjool date. So lovely, harmonious and complex. Palate is fatter and sweeter, with floating caramel raspberries and underbrush, soft and inviting yet finishes zesty and warm, bursting with burgundy and all ready to go. Long, sensual, relaxed finale. Will hold for a while but why wait...an awesome 2007.

Only shy of perfection because you know it will continue to get better.

Classic Dujac, softer acid than I would have thought, but fantastic with the mushroom soufflé , thanks Paul J.

Seductive nose of rose petals, cherry, and pomegranate. Airy as a 2007 should be. Second favorite wine of the night
