Enjoyed very much with a nice rib eye steak!

Screaming good. Fully mature. Layered and complex. Cherry fruit, leather, garrigue, Provençal herbs. Long finish. Impressive!

This wine really showed up tonight. Fruit dominated but in this ultra hot vintage the wine finally mellowed a bit.

2003. I’ve had other 2003s in CNP and they’ve been overly ripe for my liking. Hot vintage. This Pegau was very good. It showed elegance over power.
