Red fruits - light in alcohol but doesn't lack fruit flavour. Rich blackcurrant, plum and cherries dominate. Vibrant, fantastic core structure. Sweet fruit! Mineral and silky. Dry tannin sensation but not too aggressive. 30+ second find. 93 points.

A real traditional heavyweight syrah, perfumed with lavender and green olive, plum pudding and cracked pepper. Mouthfilling and bold, very perfumed and streamlined on the palate. Good mid-palate concentration, and high acid despite 15% alc. comes across as both elegant and burly, plenty of length in the finish but not without tongue-numbing heat. Still, gorgeous.

Balanced but able to hold its own . Amazing with multiple levels of complexity.

Other than the 15%; this is a beauty example of Hermitage.

The opposite of Big ball tearing Barossa Shiraz...love it. Structure, balance and medium bodied finesse unlike any other Shiraz I have ever tasted. The tannin profile on this wine is as precise as a surgeon's knife. Hermitage.

Yes please!! Brooding adolescent this is. A little closed on nose to begin but started offering black and blue fruits spliced with liquorice and smoky haze. Awesome mouthfeel, opulent depth of fruit and flavour. The persistent chalky tannin gives this wine epic texture. Power, drive, length and tannin. Everything in place even if it's a little shy. A knockout for me at 95+ points.
