Dark sweet cherry, iron, a little stem. In a good place, but plenty of life ahead. This will be fun to follow.

2001 vintage. Medium ruby - some bricking starting to show. On the nose, much more feminine and subtle than the mighty 2002. More appealing and subtle. On the palate, medium plus acidity and medium body. Tannins are more integrated than the 2002. Length is shorter than the 2002, but the overall wine is more enjoyable and more in line with what I consider a Clos de Tart to be. Drink now until 2027+.
