Notes are from day 2. Ruby color with clear rim showing the youthfulness. Medium viscosity. On the nose, this is very elegant and perfumy. A lovely mix of strawberry, raspberry, roses, lily’s with some baking spices coming through. Confirmed on the palate and the attack remains plush with silky round mouthfeel and medium long finish with slight spiced undertones. Dry wine, medium plus acidity, medium and fine tannins, medium alcohol and medium body. The wine shows winemaker Véronique Drouhin’s dedication to elegance and finesse, and will age meaningfully for years to come. This cuvée will settle down with cellaring and I can’t wait to see how it’s story evolves over the next 5 years...
