Yellow apple, white floral characteristics, as well as an interesting grassiness. The point of interest for our tasting group today was the cheese rind salinity/bitterness that many of these Jura whites showed! I love this kind of funky bitterness. The nose and palate showed honey or more accurately some floral nectar as well as a lot of savory, baked squash notes which I always love!

Bruised green apple, sweet-tart lemon, then cream cheese, hay, blanched almond, bee pollen. Oxidized, saline stuff; description does the combination of flavors little justice. Yum.

honeysuckle bomb on the noise and straight sherry on the palate. i definitely got the mushroom on the palate. this is most definitely not for everyone. bright on the palate and long finish. good with cheese and crusty bread.
