Interesting change of pace, a 2009 Savoie Mondeuse (Arvin), a grape I’ve long been a fan of, but always hard to find!! At 17 years of age, soft redfruits, well-framed by tense acidity and otherwise soft structure, but surprising length and a persistent finish, all wrapped in a 12.5% ABV lingering finish, very good!! I have more, and will report more carefully on the next bottle!!
