Good Muscadet but missing the nuance and length of bottles from my favorite producers.

What an unexpected gem. At first whiff, there’s oyster shells and ripe citrus. Pears and melon with ocean spray. Apricots and streaks of honey. Occasionally these Muscadet wines can be a tad boring or uninteresting so I really appreciate that this one announces itself right out of the gate.

This appears to be light and breezy at first but then displays a richer body. Very saline and a load of minerality, especially for a Melon de Bourgogne. Gravely, in a good way. Lemon and brine in the mouth, along with thyme and more oyster shells. Easily one of my favorites of the varietal.

My favorite white wine in the last year! Brilliant Muscadet, prototypic but still unique. Salted lemon, wet stone and taste of oysters. Yet it feels creamy in the mouth. What a find.

Very impressive- variety of fruit, varietally sound, long finish. Lots of complexity while maintaining classic nature.
