Rimmerman comes through. Blood, iron, bitter chocolate, smoke and blackberry, but with blinding clarity and powdery tannin. The fruit gets a little juicier after a bit. Just the thing with smoke-grilled pickle-brined pork chops, hasselback potatoes and this apple-onion-cabbage mustard salad thing. I could drink this every day.

I opened two poor bottles of other wine, then this. It has redeemed me, I think. Fabulously juicy and gluggable. Also, cheap.

Starts like Beaujolais. Not my thing. Develops tannic traction. Mid acidity, and some fruit density. Maybe in a few hours I'll be overly impressed. Day two: much better. Drips flavor. Some pork fat in there. Seems like the viscosity increased. Wierd

Surprising. Red and black fruit with notes of olives and hint of balsamic and spice on the nose. Dense dark fruits, with grippy tannins. Nice!
