The 7th and final GC White Burgundy. A mineral slatey nose with lovely citric acid , white peach and some toast. Medium bodied - in its infancy with great potential and energy. An ongoing theme of power and tension with these Grand Cru white Burgundies. As a general summary of the 7 Grand Cru White Burgundies they were outstanding and probably the best expressions of Chardonnay on earth. Are they worth the ever increasing $$$$s? Probably not - all in the eye of the beholder but they are incredible. Once again the monks were right in selecting the plots they did over a 1000 years ago.
