Perfect beach wine. Honeysuckle. Light body. Mineral. Rain water. Actually reminds me of Graillot's Crozes blanc a little.

2007: beautiful after 30 minutes of air. An herbal monster crawling out of the undergrowth.

2000 vintage, by some measure past its prime but still with enough acidity to enjoy with coquilles st Jacques. a favorite wine of the year

Mineral and leesy nose with grapefruit peel, lemon and green apple fruit. Has great texture but not weighty with lots of citrus fruit, herbs and leesy, hay like flavors. Focused and zippy on the finish.

Waves of mineral on a mellow lemon curd base that I presume is typical of aged Muscadet. Evolved nicely over a couple of hours and stood up nicely on day two. I probably wouldn't want to age it further personally, but it still has life.
