This predominantly Semillon/Sauv blend (70/30) from Domaine de Chevalier is a superb Bordeaux sec at a very attractive price.

Both rich and refreshing, the citrusy palate has wafts of peach, apricot, gooseberry and pear alongside a honeyed edge. The finish is long and mouthwatering, with good acidity. A brilliant wine.

Very intriguing counterpoint between saline/herbal nose and tropical/nutty mid palate. Polished, sexy, clean. Lots of savory seaweed aromatics.

Fruity and smooooth with slight honeysuckle notes. Did we eat bbq with this wine? Yes, some of us did.

Bright aromas of lemon, fresh herbs, white flowers and tropical fruits. Round fruit flavors of lemon, pear, orange and green apple. Crisp acidity and freshness. Just a hint of oak. Disappears on the mid-pallet, but comes back with an elegant finish. Solid QPR.

lovely bordeaux blanc, perfect warm weather wine. lighter in color and taste, pear is the dominant flavor and some tropical pineapple.

First encounter. Very good wine! Great QPR.
Note to self: buy some when you see it.

Herbal nose with a hint of lemon, some mineral thing going on too like crushed oyster shell. The palate is a model of balance with a sheer acid backbone and some layers of fruits, grip and a salty touch too. Good grip before a long finish with salt and lemon. 2nd take of the same vintage in 2 days. Killer value!
