Alsatian Pinots seem to fill a big niche for me- well priced (this was around 18$), enough character & layers to make them QPR. With air this fills out nicely & rounds out some of its inherent tartness. Small wild raspberries & strawberries, fine tannins, smooth mouthfeel.
