Intoxicating scents of cherry, hay and earth on the nose, very juicy palate with a bright cherry note all along, a very soft, almost cushiony mouthfeel, a great acid backbone, a spherical mid palate that powers up a very nice and long cherry paradise of a finish. It's clear and crisp, it's powered with a soft mouthfeel all along. It's a fruit bomb that delivers. Buy by boxes!

Still my favorite wine from the Bertrand Domaine. This is a cuvée made without added S02 and aged in inox tanks. Pure terroir. Very nice cherry and hay nose, very inviting. The palate is well made, strong acid backbone, superb cherry notes all along, good width, a bit of a round mouthfeel. There are some light tannins in mid palate leading to a fruity finish that lasts for a while. Lovely wine!

This is a fleurie without any added SO2 and in a vineyard that is in its 3 years of transitionning into being organic. This is the last of the 4 wines I brought back from the bertrand vineyard (as in the last one I taste again as I brought a case of each) . Again please pay them a visit if you can, they are great hosts with great wines.
This is probably my favorite wine in their line up.
The nose is great with cherry, a bit of cherry liqueur too, hay and an earthy thing too. The palate is extremely well balanced with a great matter, a bright cherry fruit, a soft and easy mouthfeel, a great mid palate with a spherical form, some gentle tannins caressing the tongue and adding some complexity. The finish is just plain fruit for ever. This is one great beaujo experience!
