Cab/Syrah blend and always slays. Nose of berry fruit, some tobacco and tar, superbly mineral, blood, cherry, lovely nuanced nose. Heavily fruited. Palate is just packed with dense and ripe fruit with gobs of purity, tobacco laced berry fruit and velvety tannins that are sweet and pump the fruit. A VDT from a master like Gripa is always more than a VDT. Terrific freshness and structure to age 5-8 years.
