Jun 28th, 2020Nose has crushed pear, sliced yellow apple, vanilla candy, dried lemon peel, tangerine pith, (moist) granulated white sugar and lemon oil.
Palate has mashed pear, lemon zest, lemon flesh, under-ripe white peach, tangerine essence and (faint) wet slate.
Fantastic balance of (medium) acidity with great length to the finish. Just a fantastic bottle with great cellaring before our acquisition within the past couple years.
I suggest not passing by any version of a Bernard-Bonin wine whenever you see one, always great, better with age. 2013/2014 white Burgundy's are just drinking so perfect right now. Drink this 2022-2028.
