Clos du Roy Corton Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Gorgeous! Smells like a forest after a springtime rain. Wet leaf and damp soil. A touch of tangerine peel and a lot of violet. Quite herbaceous too - oregano and thyme, but really provides a cool Asian beef teriyaki flavor. Great complex and tasty wine.

Bright red fruit, earthy notes, white pepper. Silky tannins

Decant for 3 hours and be handsomely rewarded. So much going on here and it’s only getting better.
