All earth and rocks and rhubarb(?!), in a very light bodied way. Overmatched by a rib eye, a roast chicken would be about perfect. This ought to really be something with a couple more years behind it.

I've never managed to sit on these very long, the only reason this time was due to a cellaring error. The extra couple of years did nothing to the exuberance and freshness but added a touch of depth. Wish I had more.

This Mourvedre is exquisite. Smooth and tasty like you see in France. Mellow tannins and hints of spice. Lovely
