La Maldita Rioja Garnacha

Wet dog initially on the nose that blows off quickly. Tobacco, earth, black pepper, roasted kale, red currants, acidity hits on the finish.

Mostly Garnacha. Fruit forward, nice dry finish. Medium bodied. Lots of dry raspberry. Uncomplicated & straight forward. very smooth, fun and enjoyable Rioja for under $10. Part of the Opici wine imports portfolio.

Sweet and dry. Good summer red.

Deep red with purple tones. Pleasant aromas of Berry fruit with spicy notes. On the palate strawberry and sour cherry support the earthy spices, a touch of tobacco and cacao. Fine tannins grace the finish, which make it easy drinking. The wine sits on French and American oak for a short time. Nice wine for $10!

Meh. Not my style and helped me realize I am not a fan of Spanish wine. Maybe I just need more experience in this region.

Easy drinking red at a great price

For $10, it was a super fun Grenache. Easy drinking on a warm end of Spring evening.
