Brilliant ruby in the glass with thin edges. An absolutely stunning nose of bright red fruits, cherry cola, a dash of cinnamon, fresh herbs, and just the faintest hint of funk. I really don’t want to stop smelling this sexy thing but I should taste it. Even though I mention that funk, this is definitely far more on the elegant and sensual side of Pinot. On the palate there’s plenty to love. Lush fruit is complimented by just the right amount of spice and mild oak. Dark chocolate and herbs take you right on to the long finish of dark berries. Simply an outstanding Pinot Noir and one I want more of.
