Terrific balance, crisp acidity, medium weight. Lemon, beeswax, lanolin, intense minerality. Delicious South African Chenin.

2014 in 8/21. Saw I had this exact vtg previously and wanted to wait on the 2nd btl. Guess that's what THIS was. This btl waited hint too long. Fruits leaning bruised,baked. Still very enjoyable. Glad I drank it now like Galloni said and SUPER glad I didn't wait until '28 like parker said. Happy 48th bday. 14% Rdl Burg stem.

Love this wine!!! The 14 could stand a hint of time to hit it's potential. Full,round creamy but not obnoxious. Complex. Mild brightness on the nose. Barrel fermented chenin. This Is How You Get CALI chard drinkers to drinl chenin. Fuckin' great wine! They clearly under priced this at $39. That's a steal at RETAIL!!!

Delicious and full bodied Chenin. Pure and clean fruit. Would give it a few more years before it really hits its peak.

Finally able to track this down retail. It's full on the front end but finishes with a streak of acidity you would expect from chenin. Oak is def mod++ but its not out of balance. Let's Try To Let The 2ND BTL Sit Another yr. Drgrs.
