A real cab drinker's Pinot Noir. We tasted this from the barrel today at the winery and thought it was so good we got a couple of bottles for dinner. A full bodied wine with dark fruit, spice and oak on the nose. Excellent flavors of blueberries, baking spice and chocolate on the palate. Nicely balanced with lots of backbone if you are inclined to age wines. For me, let the party begin! First night in Napa!

This wine has a very complex flavor. Low acidity with high tannins. It's got a wonderful stewed fruit smell and a subtle hint of fresh earth. This wine has a sharp attack on entrance and gives good taste across the tongue.

I would enjoy this wine with a solid meal, but I wouldn't drink it alone.

The most impressive Pinot Noir these lips have ever sipped. Possibly because I am a fan of full bodied elegance. Strong oak influence that burns off slightly with some air. This is a Pinot that drinks like a right bank Bordeaux. Very interesting. Great wine.
