(It’s 2014 vs 2012 tonight. Half bottles once again!) Such a pretty nose! So seductive with its rich but delicate fruit (stewed prunes, suggests the Blushing Fox), slightly candied, and hints of florals. You had me at hello. Sophisticated depth across the palate, driven by black and red fruit with a savoury base. Absolutely beautiful now, and I can see this getting even better over the next several years.
