A bit light on the nose, the palate comes through with intensity, nerve, citrus fruit, floral notes, and just a bit of wet granite underneath the fruit. The acidity keeps this wine from seeming sweet, but it will cut through fatty foods beautifully without getting too edgy. Very long finish. I want to say that it seems like a good, dry spaetlese in style if not specific flavors. I wish I had left this laying down another year to develop secondary flavors and especial, aromas.
