Aging incredibly well and likely not yet at peak. A bit more generous than most Chinons I've encountered, but still undeniably of the Loire. Older vintages from this producer have been popping up at retail at deep discount and I'm glad to have picked up a few for the cellar.

Normally we drink Burgundy with our roast chicken, but we decided to go crazy and try this 13 year old cab-franc. This had both high toned acid and dark cassis like fruit, resolved tannin and a bit of black olive. A small bottle and great with the food!
