Bright golden color. Aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and sea spray. The palate leans more toward pear and unripe peach with a pleasant herbal note on the finish. Mouth filling texture, medium body and crisp acidity. There is a bit of weight (pleasant) but it’s not over the top. Still fresh (opened almost five years past the vintage date) and quite fruit forward. So interesting!

A nice pale melon color in the glass. The spot on definition of a solid wine that over delivers. Apricots are dominant on the nose with peaches wafting from the glass. The passionfruit notes are impressive and the smear of honey is delicious. There’s a ton of herbal aromas underneath once the wine begins to warm. This is one of those fun, it smells more expensive than it is, bottles for sure.

100% Treixadura, the native grape of Galicia. Everything here is just so comfortable. There is a thrill to be sure, but the highs remain pleasant and the lows just aren’t there. Perfect for warm summer nights on the porch but still high quaffability potential. Medium bodied with a strong backbone of citrus and freshness. More herbs and spices on the medium length finish. You can throw this back and enjoy it. Or take your time with it and really be surprised.
