I taste a lot of Napa Cabernet, but I don’t *drink* a lot of Napa Cabernet. But when I do I make sure it’s the good stuff, and it don’t get much better than @corisonwinery. Earth, lavender and black currant aromas give way to fantastically juicy and elegant black cherry, tobacco leaf, dried herbs and flowers, and a touch of pencil lead. Gorgeously balanced, with fine-grained, restrained tannins. Delicious now, but amazing in another 10 years. I just couldn’t wait that long.

N: Plums and tobacco, some cedar.Liquorice, deep.
P: some big cherries, but black, nice balance of wood and acidity. Very nicely crafted. Some dirt, as it airs, you almost get pomegranates. It’s lovely and very easy to drink.

Had this last 7 months ago. The acidity has calmed down a little and is letting more of the fruit play the star. I’m upping from 9.2 to 9.3. Just gonna keep getting better!!

Magnificent, unique character of each vintage shines through, as always. Some subtle earthiness, subtle dark fruit, silky tannins. Another awesome vintage.
