Deep, tawny, brick red. Raisins, oak, leather, and a hint of tobacco on the nose. Ripe fruit, supple and smokey tannins, lengthy finish. This 2006 vintage is probably not what a Pinot "should" be... it's big, bold and potent (at 16.3%). It was an interesting experience!
